Our research focuses on engineering metalloenzymes to address longstanding challenges in organic synthesis and coordination chemistry and to interrogate and manipulate the function of metal centers in biology. We employ strategies from inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, and biochemistry to unravel and expand upon Nature's solutions to difficult chemical transformations.
